PLANETARY DETAILS:
Despite being a well-rounded world in climates and terrains, the planet has an approximate population of 2 million, descended from the original founder colony over 500 years ago. The culture on the planet has become class based, with the rich landowners and the poor 'serfs' who work under the Cabal of Provincial Lords.

The number of Provinces have changed over time but currently there are Landria, Kent, Suffolk, Ajastia, Mercia, Dorset and the oldest and largest; Wessex.

Technological Development
Some advancement; poor educational systems; medical care at level of 21st-22nd century; microelectronics industry non-existent; some areas with higher rating possible, but privately run/held.

Some industrialization at level of mid-20th century; fusion reactors imported.

World/system produces all the raw materials needed and occasionally exports a small surplus.

EMPLOYER SITUATION REPORT:
Langhorne is another example of Lyran neglect but it contains very important resources that the Rim Collection could use to improve the standard of living on the home worlds. The Cabal, a group of 7 self appointed hereditary Provincial Lords form the only government and all inter-planetary issues must be dealt with through them.

Our plan is to enter into negotiations for them to trade exclusivily with the RCMC and perhaps for them to join the RC, at least unofficially since Marshall Tatyana O'Timmons of the Timbuktu Theatre would probably use force to punish the Cabal.

We believe the local Lyran rep. will not have enough time to interfere with outside forces, but they might have sway over one or more of the Militias. (Although very weak compared current core world standards, probably no BatteMechs)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
1) Escort and protect Chairman Launtis while he negotiates with the Provincial Lords.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:
1) Protect the Provincial Lords from possible threats outside the Cabal.
