PLANETARY DETAILS:

The planet of Palmyra was first settled by the Jewish run corporation Palmyra Petrochemicals over 800 years ago, the corporation has has its ups and downs over the centuries but they have basically controlled the desert planet the way they wished. Information about the planet itself is extremely limited to what information PalPet has released to the combat regional command on Tsamma. After some looking into it was believed that PalPet has been paying off officials for centuries. Things are still politically unstable on New Avalon so the ministry of Justice has taken steps to hire a merc unit to 'garrison' the planet but secretly to gather information on PalPet's activities. There are some rumors that they ran black projects for Katherine Steiner-Davion during the early 60's.

The capital city is Hilder's Hell, although its more of a mega-corporate complex, estimated at having a population of over two million people; all working for PalPet.
New Briefing Information: The FS Ministry of Justice has been appalled to find out just how deep PalPet's involvement in various criminal activities in the systems surrounding Palmyra goes. Unknown jumpship activity in these systems has increased fourfold since the Restless Souls made planetfall. Intelligence indicates many of the units involved in these activities are of company size or smaller, and appear to be gathering for a potential trip to Palmyra.
As such, the FSN has detailed two destroyer task forces to blockade Palmyra's jump points.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

1) Capture the PetPal facilities in Hilder's Hell and Avon long enough to remove all information pertinent to off-planet dealings.

2) Obtain all possible evidence that would aid in the conviction of PetPal's upper-level management on the charge of treason.

3) Identify all possible military units working in PetPal's employ.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:

1) Prevent any forces from leaving Palmyra until the blockade is in place. ETA of blockading ships: 2 weeks.
