PLANETARY DETAILS:
[3051] Though they fought well, Clan Jade Falcon's 305th Assault Cluster lost the right to conquer Montmarault, in November 3051, to Clan Steel Viper's Viper Guards. Most Falcon warriors blame this defeat on the fact that the Viper Guards were fresh, while the 305th fought in some of the invasion's fiercest battles.

[3078] The planet and others in the new Dompaire Reaches have become the newest 'Chaos March' and the larger powers around are waiting to see what happens. In the meantime dozens of pirates, mercenaries and ganglords have sprung up.

EMPLOYER SITUATION REPORT:
The situation in the Dompaire Reaches is highly unstable. Between the remaining Falcon remnants, Clan Wolf raids, LAAF raids, some incursions from the SLDF and various private groups including pirates and 'off the grid' mercs we have determined that Montmarault has become the hub of the Reaches.

You will be landing in a fragile peace, we are fairly sure that all major powers in the area have resources on planet, although the LIC and ISF all deny it or refuse to comment. It is somewhat obvious Falcon warriors have scattered into bullying gangs while Clan Wolf is likely to be stirring up trouble as well.

We need your unit to go undercover as a merc unit here training a local ganglord's thugs in actual military combat. But the ganglord is actually a SLDF DIS asset and will support any move made by the SL or LA, although keep your wits about you.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
1) Be seen to teach the ganglord; Ludwig Florantine's brutes in tactics while gathering information on the status of who controls the critical installations of the planet and what the political landscape of the Dompaire Reaches is now after Operation Lorelai.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:
1) Do not tell anyone of your true employer.
