PLANETARY DETAILS:

[3052] The heavy OmniMechs of the 328th Assault Cluster outclassed the light 'Mechs of the Second Kavelleri with firepower and mobility. At Saldhana, the Kavelleri position was compromised when an assault OmniMech Star pushed through the First Lothan Brigades infantry on the right flank. At Tronsk, the Kavelleri were undone by a headhunter Star that found and destroyed the regimental HQ. The Kavelleri's final mistake was to turn and fight in a valley at Kandalaksha that offered little cover. The surviving members of the Kavelleri, only five companies strong, retreated offworld to Udea.

While Generalmajor Minult is taking on the forces at Ramsau the second half of Operation Hector's Arrow will strike at Lothan. If either force is does better than the other, they are to support the other assault.

Intel. sizes up the defensive force to be the 328th Assault Cluster and some aerospace support, it is believed that they are protecting the modular weapons factory near the Beatrice Forest and 20km south west of the capital; Haskell. The primary freight Spaceport is located at Tronsk, an industrial city on the coast, 160km north west from Haskell.

It is important that the force takes the planet within the year as we need to install a rudimentary SDS satellite network that will protect the planet from retaliation.
