PLANETARY DETAILS:
New Vallis' northernmost continent is Skagens. The southernmost is Gedser. The westernmost is Blåvandshuk and the easternmost continent is Østerskær. This is in the archipelago Ertholmene 18 kilometers northeast of New Vallis' capital, Bornholm and planetary SpacePort on the peninsula of Jylland, New Vallis' fifth continent.
New Vallis' consists of 443 named islands (1,419 islands above 100 m² in total). Of these, 72 are inhabited, with the largest being Zealand and Fyn. The largest city of Bornholm is located on the eastern coast of the Jylland, on the Balltick Ocean. Many of the larger islands are connected by bridges; the Øresund Bridge connects Zealand with Swedann; the Great Belt Bridge connects Fyn with Zealand; and the Little Belt Bridge connects Jylland with Fyn. Ferries or small aircraft connect to the smaller islands. Main cities are Coppanhaggan on Østerskær; Århus on Skagens; Aalborg on Gedser; Esbjerg on Blåvandshuk; and Odense on Zealand.
New Vallis has historically taken a progressive stance on environmental preservation; in 3043 New Vallis established a Ministry of Environment and was the first planet in the Taurian Concordat to implement an environmental law in 3045.
New Vallis is divided into five regions and a total of 98 municipalities. The regions were created on 1 January 3080 as part of the 3080 Municipal Reform to replace the planets's traditional thirteen counties. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the number of municipalities from 270 to 98. Most municipalities have a population of at least 20,000 people to give them financial and professional sustainability, although a few exceptions were made to this rule.
New Vallis' conventional armed forces are known as the Forsvaret Defence. During peacetime, the Ministry of Defence in New Vallis employs around 33,000 in total. The main military branches employ almost 27,000: 15,460 in the Royal New Vallis Army, 5,300 in the Royal New Vallis Navy and 6,050 in the Royal New Vallis Air Force.

EMPLOYER SITUATION REPORT:
Commander, we are not 100% certain, we will require your unit to verify our intel, however, we have reports of a Davion unit that appears to be either an advance recon unit or either a disavowed mixed company sporting the insignia from the 2nd Cunniningham Commandos. They have taken up looting on some of our smaller Islands and are currently in Odense on Zealand. They seemed to have taken a liking to its wares because they have broken their previous pattern of moving on every two weeks and have been in Odense for the last 4 months; and have begun to set up permenant residence there.
We would rather not risk deploying members of our TDF for fear that it could be a trap for luring us out of our defensive formation so that Yvonne Stiener-Davion could strike at the heart of the Taurian Concordant, Taurus.
We require you to remove the festering pest from our planet lest they are a prelude to something worse. If possible we would like to discover their truth behind this unit's deployment here. You will be on your own on this Op. Standard salvage rights. We will not remeimburse for consumables.

Major Dwayne Jamison Bishop, your Deuces Wild have performed an exemplary job on New Vallis. The Taurian Concordat Constabulary has evidence to support the intel that you have provided. It seems that House Davion had in fact invaded our Protectorate to recover lost technology from New Vallis in what the Federated Suns had dubbed ‘Operation Adler’.
Taking up where your Siege Campaign left off, the Taurian Concordat will require the Deuces Wild to engage in an offensive campaign and attack hostile mercenary forces which the TCC has supporting evidence that indicates are incoming to contest New Vallis. This mission will involve additional Deuces Wild troops reinforcing or replacing those in the first landings. We need your Deuces Wild Mercenary Unit to join forces with the planet's defenders, Forsvaret New Vallis Royal Defence Force, and declare an offensive campaign against enemies who occupy a portion of the planet. While we do realize that the Taurian Concordat can not compensate you on par with a planetary assault (nor is it as risky as one) , this kind of campaign still pays well.
The Forsvaret New Vallis Royal Defence Force may be somewhat hostile due to your Lieutenant Thomas "Wolf" Lukov judge, jury, and executioner styled systemic destruction of a portion of the Royal New Vallis Wet Navy. To further substantiate TCC intel we will require you to raise the scuttled Lion-Class DropShip from off the coast of Swedann and if possible recover or at least provide a lead to the whereabouts of the lost tech.
Taurian Concordat Constabulary Intel suspects the Longwood's Bluecoats Mercenary Unit will be arriving on New Vallis within the month.
